Demolition of the existing footbridge along with concrete footings and abutments; picnic pavilion including the steel structure, wood and asphalt shingle roof, concrete footings, concrete slab, and surrounding concrete apron; concrete sidewalk; grill and grill pad; existing perimeter chain link fence with gates and fence posts with concrete footings; and removal of bench swing and pad;
Installation and maintenance of silt fence, erosion control measures, and tree save fence;
Installation and maintenance of temporary construction fence to secure the construction area from the open part of the park;
Installation of new perimeter fence and gates;
Construction of new concrete sidewalk;
Construction of 2 pedestrian wood boardwalks;
Construction of concrete splashpad with colored, rubberized surface, water features and all water supply piping and connection to the County system, drainage piping, granite columns, splashpad perimeter fence, and granite seatwalls;
Installation of splashpad in-ground reservoir tank, equipment with required water piping, sanitary sewer connection and electrical power;
Coordination with DeKalb County for connecting to existing sanitary sewer and water;
Construction of new 20’x28’ pre-engineered wood pavilion with ceiling fans and electrical outlets, concrete slab, granite veneer bases on posts, surrounding sidewalk, connecting sidewalk, drinking fountain with waterline, and trash receptacle,
Construction of concrete sidewalk and steps for access from the splashpad to the pavilion;
Installation of relocated swing bench with concrete pad and new bench with concrete pad;
Installation of sod and landscape materials and providing water as needed to warrant the material;
